The summer activity that I want to share with you is Backyard Camping! It is so easy and so fun to set up camp in your own backyard. We have a small tent for the kids and they have their own little sleeping bags. They grab a pillow off of their bed and they are all set.
It is so much fun to hang out in the backyard and a tent is just the thing to make it a little more special.
They also love to make s'mores! Yum!! We have a fire pit in our backyard and we love it. Before we bought that we just used our charcoal grill to make s'mores.
Since my kids are still pretty young...we can set the tent out early and by 10 they are ready to go upstairs to their own beds, but they still feel like they went "camping."
This is an easy and cheap family summer activity!

I really like this! We were wanting to camp this summer and this may be the perfect option with having a new baby.
ReplyDeleteLove this!! Perfect for our little ones - and they already love smores, so I'm sure it will be a big hit!
ReplyDeleteWe have done this with our kids in the past too. They loved it. The best part is when I went in the house to sleep in my bed! LOL. I'm not much for sleeping on the ground!
