When I started I promised myself that I would never apologize for not blogging.
I promised myself that I would never feel guilty about it either.
I haven't, but I do miss it when I can't find a stinkin' minute to sit down long enough to write one post.
As I've been away from my blog for the past 8 weeks or so.... this is how I have felt ----->
found on Pinterest
I've just been living.
I am not the best at chronicling my life, but I definitely enjoy it.
I told myself that I will blog when I can and if you choose to read it great! If not...that's great too....
I know that you are all just as busy as I am!
There are several blogs that I would LOVE to enjoy on a daily basis, but between my full-time job, my wife & mom duties, etc. etc..... I just can't squeeze them ALL in.
I have already surpassed my personal goals for my blog.
I have met some great blogging friends....some whom I am co-hosting this new weekly link up with.
I have pried myself a little bit out of my introverted shell that I "created" over the past several years.
I also attended a very fun dinner with the Texas Women Bloggers in Dallas.
If along the way I earn money through blogging then it will just be a nice bonus because that is not on the top of my
priority list right now.
This past year I have become a part of a blogging community that I am so appreciative of.
Their friendships have meant a lot to me.
Their friendships have meant a lot to me.
Each one of us in this group is different.
We all have different things going on in our lives and we all have different goals for our blogs.
Even though we are all different...we create together and encourage one another.
We want to see each other reach their goals.
As always... my hope for this blog is just to be an encouragement to each of my readers.
Life is hard, life is messy.... but with God it can still be so beautiful.

Thanks, Jess!! :)
DeleteI'm so glad I found your blog through the link up! How fun to be a Coach's wife :) I'm a huge football gal myself and my husband would love to coach one day! I don't know if I have just one word for the new year yet except to RELAX. I'm so guilty of stressing over too many things.
ReplyDeleteI hear that girls that love football deserve bigger diamonds ;) RELAX is a good one!!! I hope you have a blessed 2015!
DeleteLooking forward to browsing your blog! My one word for 2015 is Family. ;) www.fussner.us
ReplyDeleteHey there... thanks for stopping by! FAMILY is a wonderful word for 2015!
DeleteMy word for 2015 is FOCUS. I often find myself doing so much at once that I don't really give my all the way I should. I think if I were to focus more, I would see better results and wouldn't have 5 unfinished projects.
ReplyDeleteI completely get this!! We do a million things, but hardly have a chance to give any of them 100%... Thanks so much for sharing!!
DeleteI love your thoughts on not having to apologize for not blogging. I'm due with baby #2 in March and am anticipating a blogging hiatus of sorts. What do you think, should I leave a note that I will be back one day? Just post pictures? I just want to make sure I'm not pressuring myself to blog, but I want to continue to have something to document my family since we live away from our close relatives. I am going to go ahead and deem 2015 the year of PRESENCE I want to be present where I am placed.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much <3
~Andrea - MitchaelJourney.com
Congrats on your baby :) I think if you are already anticipating a hiatus... I would mention it....but definitely don't stress about it.... Just be you and that genuineness will come across through your blog. I know people will be happy to read whatever you share and enjoy your pictures just as much!! I love your word!!!! Thanks for sharing, Andrea!
DeleteWonderful honesty, sister. I've been struggling to get back into the swing of things after break. Sometimes I feel like I'm not the "blogger I want to be" or whatever and wonder why I keep blogging. Grace. That's what I need to give myself and we need to give each other.
ReplyDeleteI think your blog is wonderful and you are so organized and on top of things!!!!! Plus....you do it all while raising a family, being a wonderful wifey & working full-time! You go girl!!
DeleteI like your sign about being out to live! :) Blogging isn't any fun when you feel guilty for not blogging. Thanks for being honest and sharing your thoughts on this!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!! I hope you have a blessed 2015!!
DeleteHmmm....I have been seeking the Lord about what my one word for 2015 should be. Still haven't come up with anything for certain, but I am leaning more towards "simplify" or something along that line. Thanks for the giveaway and link-up!! Glad to have "met" you today through the link-up!!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! SIMPLIFY is one of my favorite words!!! Do you A Bowl Full of Lemons? I love her blog and the way she creates a beautiful space by living simply! Happy 2015!
Deletethis: Life is hard, life is messy.... but with God it can still be so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
Thanks, Lauren :)
DeleteI haven't come up with just one. I'm between Grace and Beauty. Because life is both grace filled and beautiful. This year my goal is to fill my life with more grace. And to also find the beauty in every little thing.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful!!!!! I love it! I hope your 2015 is your best year yet!!!! You can't go wrong with grace and beauty!
